You have been threatening us with Alonso wins from the beginning of the 2011 season but so far both you and Alfonso haven't been successful. ^o^

Boo fog.

I was hoping it would be like this.

Anyway, question of the weekend, will the Red Bulls maintain their qualifying advantage?

I think Vettel will still be able to take the pole but not as easy as he used to

Autosport wrote:Formula 1 teams are to face a further clampdown on engine mapping use from this weekend's European Grand Prix, AUTOSPORT has learned, with the FIA moving to eradicate special qualifying-only settings

Ahead of the effective ban on the off-throttle use of blown diffusers from next month's British Grand Prix, motor racing's governing body has shown it is determined to prevent teams from using any form of clever engine use to help aerodynamic performance.

In a note sent from F1 technical delegate Charlie Whiting to the teams, he made it clear that with immediate effect teams will no longer be allowed to change engine maps between qualifying and the race.

Such a move will effectively prevent teams from running an extreme engine map for qualifying - such as one that produces more exhaust blowing or burns more fuel – and then reverting to a safer setting for the grand prix itself.

http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/92494 (full story)

This all seems very complicated. They have lead themselves down the path where the FIA inspectors are involved in every little thing the teams do. We are halfway to a spec racing series (with spec electronics). It would be easier just to ban electronics (of course, that will kill off their "clever" passing system).

Three quarters of a way into the third practice sessions, Red Bulls are performing just fine.

Now everyone is going for soft tyre runs.

Red Bulls and Ferraris look quick.

Now let's see how Qualies are in 2 hours time.

I think Alonso and Ferrari will have his first pole position of season, also I expect to see mistake by Vettel.

Yeah right, RBR train just keeps on going... :argh: :hihi:
