2011 Canadian GP Weekend

Postby Dev on Wed Jun 08, 2011 12:11 pm

What? No thread yet? How rude. :noway: :noway:

Anyway, I'll leave it to the others/mods to configure this thread to fulfill the GP.com Forum Regulations On Official Race Weekend Threads.

In the meantime, according to F1.com, we're set for a wet Saturday and Sunday at Montreal. Do you believe them? 8)

Having checked several weather sites (yes I am that sad) I can confirm they all say showers over the weekend.

As for this thread, if Mafia starts an official one we can merge this one into it. I was shocked he hadn't started one, I mean anyone would think he had a life outside of this place!!! :reallyevil:

Canada is usually one of the better races of the year so we should be in for a good one with any luck. I am looking forward to it personally

I'm boycotting this race. Canadian citizens are being mistreated by their Government. Eh? :argh:

Yeah, 2am on Ten. That means I won't get to see it until Monday night. As it happens, that will be a good thing for me. I'll need a full day to recover from the 24 Heurs Du Mans. :hungry: :hungry: :hungry:

1am start for both qualies and race here. I have no problems with that.

I am predicting a dominant win for the Red Bulls. :reallyevil: :reallyevil:

Vettel and Hamilton will dominate most of the race but then Hamilton will do something stupid(again) and take both himself and Vettel out of the race, paving the way for Webber to win. :banghead:

I bet right now GWaB is on his knees right now praying that my prediction will come true. ^o^

I agree with most of that, well the Hamilton doing something stupid again anyway ;)

I think this could be a very different race with two DRS zones, we'll have to see how it goes.

Interesting front wing design. Though I don't think it will improve the performance much :p
