Number of posts

Postby Lawrence on Fri Mar 03, 2006 1:28 am

Just flipping through the directory to avoid doing any real work....

The total number of members was 2075.

The total number of post appears to be 229,041.

The highest number of posts by an individual is 26,272 (Dev). He apparently is responsible for more than 11% of the posts here.

In the 7,000 to 8,000 post range (7,192-8,342)are 4 people (Paul, lower case writer, Strad and IanK).

In the 5K to 6K range (4,992-5,974) are 5 people (Funkmaster, Tifosi77, Nev, wuzak, jerste).

In the 2,500 to 4K range (2,464 - 4,349) are 21 people.

There are 29 people with around 1K to 2K posts (1,012 - 2,168)

There are 42 people with around 200 to 800 posts (213 - 838).

There are 34 other people with a 100 or more posts (100 to 184).

There are 88 people with 25 up to 100 posts (25 to 97).

Total number of people with 25 or more posts: 224
Total number of people with 100 or more posts: 136
Total number of people with 1,000 or more posts: 60

Back to work now.

There were no posters between 4,349 posts and 4,992 post. So, there wasn't really a reason to create a 4K to 5K range. With your 4,025 posts, you got lumped into the 2.5 to 4 K range.

Well, the number of posts per year is possible to calculate, but that is a little more time away from work than I wish to spend.

Does that mean the number of people here at one time?
No one reads this, do they? Thought not.

Not everyone is as they at first seemed.
