Vettel did 1.22.8 this morning, not bad considering what was the pole time last year

Well, the pole time in 2013 was 1:20.718.....so they are getting down there (it was 1:19.995 in 2010).

so basically everyone improved with the exception of McLaren  I wonder if it's true that they are using last year's engine. Anyway I am very suprised by their poor performance, I thought that they would have made a massive improvement, they certainly know how to build a winning racing car.

Also I must say that I'm quite surprised by Haas and Manor, is McLaren going to be dead last this season? What about Renault? It doesn't look very promising either

Well, this is the first couple of days of the first test session of the season....but yea, so far its does not look good for McLaren or Renault. I expected from the pre-season rumors that Haas and Manor would be better than the usual season backmarkers, and that does seem to be the case, making McLaren and Renault look even worse.

I am afraid that Ferrari deserves little of criticism after this 3rd test morning, which has been spend in its totality in the garage. Had the car returned to pits after an installation lap, I would think of bad luck with reliability, which can happen to any team, but in this case, first out was only after 12, and that rather implies poor preparation for the test. I am hoping there will be forthcoming a plausible explanation. New man, J. Clear is now responsible for track related operations, and I hope he will take a notice of this incident and address whatever addressed needs to be with persons responsible. What is not clear whether fuel flow related anomaly is related to track stoppage Vettel experienced yesterday, and if it was, why it was not fixed overnight? (I am assuming teams are allowed to work on cars at any hours they desire).
Whatever you do, don’t just do it. Push it forward! [Whitelines]
